Submitted haiku is screened before it gets added to Haiku-o-Matic, so be sure that it adheres to the five/seven/five syllable format unless you want some of our hired goons to come 'round and "explain japanese poetry to you", if you know what I mean.

Most submitted haiku does not get selected to appear on the website. Do not get your hopes up, our selection criteria are somewhere between "random" and "arbitrary".

Though we "appreciate" all submissions, if the only haikus you can think of contain the word "poop" or discuss numbers of syllables, go ahead and just close this window. Thank you.
